My Inspiration & London Dream

“Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells your Story?” Lin Manuel Miranda

When I came home from Madrid in March 2022 to embark on this project, I received an unexpected cancer diagnosis.  As I waited for my prognosis I happened to again see “Hamilton” by Lin Manuel Miranda.  The final act and these words made certain I would follow this storytelling path where ever it takes me.

At that time I began dreaming of taking my kids to London, a place my boys both wanted to go but somehow missed on their semester abroad travels. I was also driven to find a way that they could see Hamilton too.  So, since Hamilton is in residence in London, this trip was the culmination of these dreams.  Thank you especially to my Peter, for always being so enthusiastic, and sharing our WanderLush dreams.

I wish you all a Happy Healthy New Year!

Also, for 2023, I am looking for a handful of people to participate in our prototype group.  I’d like to help create a website like this one for participants, to help us in our quest to create a user-friendly template for more to build their own sites to tell their own stories.  It requires organizing favorite photos into folders for every country and state you have visited (1- several dozen images in each place).  If you are interested, email me at brenda@wanderlush.life
