The Dean’s List: A Ski Film

I’m so Thankful this season. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it is simple and peaceful, and tends to draw people home, to the people and places they treasure. I hope this happens this season for all of you.

This incredible 35-minute ski movie was just released this month by Cedar Palmer & Finn Bailis. Palmer is a 2021 graduate of the University of Colorado who studied Film Production and some of this crew of skiers are CU fraternity brothers, roommates and friends of Evan’s in Boulder. They are amateur skiers who grew up in ski towns such as Telluride, Steamboat and Sun Valley and it shows their passion for skiing above all else. It is raw and honest and it celebrates their bonds with each other and this epic era of their lives. Spectacular!!! It is also impressive to me that they made this film entirely on crowdfunding. I’m Thankful that all of their bodies stayed in one piece and that when Evan skis with them, he tends to keep his feet connected to the earth. I imagine it is just the beginning for Cedar Palmer Films!
