This is Our Moment
The outcome of this election will yield two extraordinarily different futures in America.
As someone close to me reminds me:
“We can all agree to disagree on the specifics and the issues. And we can and should have that healthy debate. But we must all agree that preserving our Democracy and respecting our Constitution is the starting point of that conversation. We must agree to protect that, so that we can have the healthy conversation together about the best path forward.”
Trump Broke Foundational US Precedents: He was Unwilling to support a Peaceful Transfer of Power; Lead an attempted Coup - an insurrection against the Capital; Eroded Public Trust in our Elections; Eroded Public Trust in our Justice System.
From the September Debate regarding January 6 - Trump: “We didn’t have guns. They had guns” The “We” are the people attacking the Capitol. “They” are the people defending the Capitol.
Do we really want to give the Power of the White House to someone who thinks our own Government is the enemy? Someone who uses language like “The Enemy Within?” He is failing cognitively as his recent rhetoric proves. Also, who will he surround himself with? The only people willing and available to him by now are largely unqualified, dangerous, loyalist clowns and goons.
This is how Countries Fail. This is how Our Country Could Fail.
The entire world counting on us to get this right.
Whether or not Harris is perfect to you, regardless of Party, if you love your children, your country, and your way of life, I hope you will vote Harris/Walz in 2024 .
One thing you can count on: Harris has and always will, work: For The People.
