Stephanie is incredibly generous with sharing her home. I absolutely love going there because every time I go, it is beautifully different. She is incredibly hard working, productive and resourceful, and she is a master of making the best of what she has at the time. She plays with rooms and moves furniture around and embellishes with details inspired in nature and with artifacts from her family. Her house constantly evolves. Her design reminds me that she is true to her Pennsylvania Quaker roots where she grew up the daughter of an Architect in downtown Philadelphia. She resourcefully uses second-hand furniture and finds on e-bay that perfectly fit with her warm mid-century slanting vibe. She and her husband John bought their home in 2011 and settled in to raise their four sons. Ten years later, in 2021, with her vision, and the help of her late father, she helped the house become what it was always meant to be. The dining room became her office, her living room became her dining room, and adjacent to their beautiful family room they built a new gracious and gorgeous kitchen. I am so lucky to be invited there often.
